       E.     Airport Committee - Commissioner Vincent

Commissioner Vincent said he and Mr. Gentry attended an airport conference in Ooltewah and he said that Mr. Robert Beene’s Airport Safety Manual is being used as a model for the State. In connection with this, Mr. Gentry added that Tennessee has somehow become a leader in airport safety and people from across the country are calling for guidance.

Commissioner Vincent said that the Department of Transportation held a land acquisition hearing last week and it went well.
